You're very welcome Jerry. I think going for the Houston players is a great way to get into the T210 set. Who knows, if you like it enough, maybe you'll decide to go for other teams or perhaps the entire 3rd series

The thought of completing the entire T210 set is mind boggling. I wonder if anyone has done it (including Jax and Stengel).

The thought of completing the T210 set is very mind-boggling. I know one collector fairly well who completed the set last year; I have also been notified that there is another complete set. Though the Jackson will be one of the last cards needed for most collectors this is not entirely because of rarity but because of value. There are many “sleeper” cards in the set who consistently appear on the most advanced T210 collector’s wantlists. In fact, the card that completed the most recent set was neither a series 6 or 8 but a series 5.

I've got interest in T210 Columbia players. My list indicates a Breitenstein Columbia, yet I saw a Breitenstein New Orleans sell on eBay. Is anyone familiar enough with T210s to explain?

Yes, there are two Breitensteins in the set. One would assume that it's the same player who changed teams in 1910. The New Orleans version is from the much tougher 8th series, while the Columbia version is from the relatively common 1st series.

That helps, thanks. I'm learning to be patient. Of the Columbia players, are there some that are really tough to find, or are they all fairly common? Most have seen better days....and those red borders!!!
