1909 Pirates pocket mirror souvenir
A beautiful vintage souvenir pocket mirror of one of baseball's greatest teams, the 1909 World Series Champion Pittsburg Pirates. This rare piece features Hall of Famers such as Honus Wagner, Fred Clarke and Vic Willis along some great stars of that era including Howie Camnitz, Deacon Phillippe, Tommy Leach, Sam Leever, Lefty Liefield, and George Gibson. What a bullpen this team had!
The Pirates are featured here in 19 highly detailed oval portraits surrounded by an ornate design. Measures 2.5 inches in diameter and has a solid thickness to it. The condition of the piece is exceptional, especially considering its age. The surface is nice and smooth and the portraits are all fully intact and damage free. As seen in the scan, there is some faint browning on the O'Connor portrait on the far left. The back is fully intact and in great shape - only some light foxing and a tiny spot near the outer edge, minor flaws which hardly detract from the overall presentation.
$2000. Will consider trades or cash/card combo deals. Offering this exclusively on Full Count, nowhere else.
