August 2010 pick up thread

Figured I better start this up since it's almost a week into the month.

Another oops I won under $10 and another Sovereign knocked off the list.

It's been a good month: replaced my long lost e95 Cicotte...replaced a ramly type...and a SL T206 back to add to my backs collection...[img][/img]...and a new bike![img][/img]

Nice cards, guys. Love the T204 Crandall and it's actually on my longer list of specific cards to pick up one day as a companion piece to something else I have of his. The Baum...great pose and as always I love the red-background cards. He must have had one heavy sidearm, no? Or was he just showing off his lawn bowling skills for the photographer?

Had a very enjoyable three and a half days at the National. Day one included a shooting on my floor at The Hilton. Attended two Oriole games and was able to meet and share a couple of beers with Lee one night. Picked up several HOF types, a few BF2s and T5s including this one.

And here's another cabinet from the National! My first. My scanner isn't cooperating, but this image was taken from Mile High's website (who sold me the card). It is no longer in a PSA slab however and looks amazingly better. Need sleep...
