Cards that you wish existed…
Even though the below was an April fools joke, when I was making the card below I started to think of players that were missed from sets etc.
How cool would a Wagner or Plank action shot be from T206 let alone a Joe Jackson?
Are there any players that were missed from your favorite sets? And if so what sets and what players do you wish there were cards of?

Re: Cards that you wish existed…
T204 Ramly Cobb and Wagner would have been great.
E95 or E96 Walter Johnson portrait too.
Wonkashop strikes again?

The obvious missing CJs, Ruth and Thorpe. T205s of Plank, Wagner and Jackson.

That is a great looking T206 Jackson Wonka!
Here is a fact that I don't know if everyone knows. IF a T206 Proof of Jackson turns up or was every printed, it would be the SAME POSE as his T210 Old Mill! Wouldn't that be an exciting card to see in color!?
A t206 that would have been awesome as well would be a horizontal sliding pose of Cobb! Sorry, I don't have the skills of John to post an image.

As for T206's, I wish Connie Mack was included in the set. I imagine that would have been a neat looking card.
Re: Cards that you wish existed…
Old Judge: George Streif - the first man to hit four triples in a game. George was a career .207 hitting second baseman, who never stole a base, and played for:
Cleveland Blues (1879)
Pittsburgh Alleghenys (1882)
St. Louis Browns, National League (1883-1884)
Cleveland Blues (1884)
Philadelphia Athletics, American Association (1885)
over a five year span. But on June 25, 1885; while with the Athletics, he put it all together.
Although I haven't gone out of my way looking, I have never seen a picture of this player.

Speaking of proof cards, I kinda wish the famous Eddie Collins t206 Proof (once owned by Charlie Sheen) actually made it into the set. Nice batting pose; I wonder it was excluded. Wish I could have found a better scan, but here it is anyway courtesy of t206museum:

I wish the T206 set had 5 more horizontal poses and more Variations of Southern League Players oh and that action plank would be sweet!!!

I agree with our newest member! More horizontal poses would have been fantastic!

Re: Cards that you wish existed…
If every set had more horizontal poses, then they would probably lose the special appeal they have.

T206 would have been nicer if they would have had the % of horizontals that caramel sets had. It seems the caramel sets had the perfect % of horizontals, while the few in the Monster was such a low % of the set. Plus, T206 should have had a big name horizontal card or two as well - like the famous Matty Horizontal caramel (which is more of a work of art than a card).
I am surprised that Cobb never had a horizontal card. The T202 center panel (famous Conlin photo) of Cobb sliding would have made a great horizontal card for an early color caramel or tobacco set!

Re: Cards that you wish existed…
nice mock up, but a horrible, horrible choice for a portrait of Cobb. The only decent one is on his e95.

Nice job on the t205's Randy
I wish I had some photoshop skills so I could do a few myself.
Here's a E107 Fisher that Zach made for me a few years ago:

My Picks
Rube Foster (does any card exist?)
1936/37 or 1938 Zeenuts- Ted Williams
1940 Playball- Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb
Satchel Paige in any mainstream US baseball set prior to 1948
