1929 Leader Novelty Card question about tints

I see the different tints on the '29 Leader Novelty Candy Co. cards. I think others sets near that era (Batter Up?) would have the same players in the different colors. Are there enough Leader cards out there to know if that is true about them. I've been spending the last couple of months just trying to read and learn from you folks--thanks for your knowledge. --Bob
