W517 Mini?
Is this an actual W517 Mini or cut from a 4 in 1 exhibit card?
I always used to go by seeing a dash line to cut on for it to be a legit W517 mini.
The borders here almost make it look like the bottom right corner of a 4 in 1.
I think someone once said that you could also tell the difference by measuring the actual size of the picture itself, the W517 mini's being a tad larger in size then the 4 in 1 panels.

Re: W517 Mini?
I've always used the measurement: 1 11/16" wide X 2 19/32" tall for '31 minis. Got one somewhere, I think it's a Goslin. It's in my strip card notebook. I was really OCD about measuring strip card variations for a while.

oh neat! ok so the 4 in 1 panels should fall short of that then?
and that measurement is just the picture not including the border correct?

Re: W517 Mini?
Yes, just the picture.
The 4-in-1 panels are 3 3/8" wide X 5 3/8" tall, but have a space between the images. Yes, the 4-in-1's are slightly smaller.
With that said, the above mini seems "off" to me. I'm leaning towards mislabeled, but without the card in hand who can say for sure?

What are the measurements of 1 of the single pictures inside a 4 in 1
The full 4 in 1 doesn't really matter correct?

Re: W517 Mini?
Not sure Dan, but would like to know the dimensions. I don't have a 4-in-1 panel to measure. It seems, two minis without the borders are equal to the same width as a panel 3 3/8", but not as tall 5 3/16" (for mini), v. 5 3/8" (for panel). So are minis wider, but nearly the same height as a panel? I don't know.
Perhaps someone on the board with a 4-in-1 and a pair of calipers can assist.

It's not a 4-in-1 Exhibit--the name and team designation are completely different than all of the 4-in1s I have ever seen, which have a different style of block printing located bottom center on the subject.
EDITED TO ADD LINK: It's a W517 mini. Check these out for comparison Old Cardboard set references

Re: W517 Mini?
There are a couple special issues of exhibits that do match. I do not know the measurements on these. This one is miscut, I have seen this same card with a border on the O'Doul but they always have at least one wide border and on Odoul it would always be the right border- Edit found a second card from Adams page-

Anytime Todd.
Because of the wide right border on the graded one (matching the exhibits above) and that it is missing any kind of dotted line like the other Minis I have seen, I am leaning towards it being a cut exhibit

Re: W517 Mini?
Yea I think it is a 4 in1 panel myself. The dotted line gives away the mini and I think you are right that the mini is equal to the panel one way but not the other, can't remember which is equal, length or width. I am getting old!
