Definitely out of character for Big Papi, but on an Alaskan fishing boat I did the same thing to a wheelhouse intercom with a crowbar. No 'roids in my system, trust me ....

from his reaction i thought the pitch would be a more obvious ball...but to me it was semi-borderline. that's a reaction reserved for andres galarraga's perfect game blown call.

pssst. Armando Galarraga. BTW, I agree with you, but I'm biased. I can't stand Big Sloppy, ever since his sorry injury-prone, inconsistent, take two strikes then whiff at one in the dirt game left Minnesota.

Funny guys...I was watching the video/story of this the other day...my first instinct was "oh great...another blown out of proportion story created to draw attention to it" and then papi took the bat to the phone...atleast I wasn't disappointed!!!!!
