Three changes for the Grays:

1) FJenkins back to the bully, with Drysdale taking his spot in the rotation.

2) Leon Day to setup.

3) Double Duty Radcliffe to mop up.

I just saw that my guys are walking the league.

I would like to adjust the following settings if possible, Jay

pitching around 2
intentional walk 1

I assume these are the LOW settings, meaning they do these things rarely, instead of often?

It seems like Dave Parker had a bit of a delay in getting his passport, but if he could platoon with Vlad next week (Parker vs. righties, Vlad vs. lefties), it would be great. Thanks.

no, i think 1 means you want to overdo that thing...so they will IBB even more. i'm not qualified to give advice tho as i'm in last place!

not sure why aaron, a rh sucks against lefties...but oh well.

more tweakings in preparation for the 2 week schedule:

platoon aaron/dave winfield and our catchers:
5- RF Hank Aaron (righty)/dave winfied (lefty)
7- C Mike Kelly (lefty)/Ernie Lombardi (righty)

Pitching:

pitching around: 2
pickoff throws: 3
using relievers: 3
using closers: 1

My team record shows 10-12 shouldn't there be more games?

I tried drafting a team with high batting averages, well in cyber world baseball they make Mario Mendoza look good. tongue

Clean out your cache, it is displaying old results. I think you'll be happy once you see the next week's sim.

Assuming Week 6 is yet to run, Jay, please check that Tim Keefe in on the roster and scheduled to start in spot 5 (skip).

The CNY Stars release Max Carey. The Stars wish him well. Maybe another club can fix his swing and improve his running on the basepaths.

The CNY Stars sign Kenny Lofton (CF)

error prone Ashburn will DH in spot #1 of the order. (Manush will pinch hit or play lf when needed)
Lofton will start in CF and bat #9 in the order.
Larkin will ride the pine for a bit and hopefully watch the pitchers.

Going to two weeks is fine by me. Thanks Jay, Mike

Yeah, Lofton has got to be an upgrade over Max Carey. Good move there. We have Bernie Williams, you'd be even better off with him, I'd bet, but Lofton has wheels. I saw him in spring training in Tucson when he was a rookie. Those were the days. He was playing Oakland so it was against Rickey Henderson. Speedster of old vs. speedster of new. Relatively speaking.

Just so you know, 1 is most frequent, 5 least frequent. I set the numbers accordingly.
