Went on a bit of a C55 (mainly HOFers) buying spree...









and one lonely non-HOFer...

blair--good to see you're buying cards from your own country. hopefully that means you'll stay away from our tobacco and caramel cards from now on!

I proudly share with you what is likely my most amazing hockey pickup ever...this is a one-of-a-kind (AFAIK) 1907-08 Alfred G. Pittaway Studios Cabinet of Tommy Phillips - one of the greatest players of early hockey, and an inaugural member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1945. The image quality is stunning, with Phillips in his Ottawa team sweater...and there are no cards of Phillips:

And I upgraded my Paulin's Dick Irvin rookie:

Thanks for the nice comments, fellas! I was holding my breath in the wee hours of the morning a couple weeks ago to hang on to my bid on that cabinet!!! It was worth losing a bit of sleep over, I think.
