This isn't related to pre-war cards but I do find interesting. When I first got into the hobby in 1980 there was a huge premium place on high grade, unmarked checklist. I've noticed that these cards now barely command a price above that of an ordinary common. Do pop reports show that these are not as rare once thought?

Perhaps people finally realized that paying big bucks for a checklist was dumb?

After they checked off all the cards, they had gotten the entire set and then the checklist was no longer worth anything since it wasn't needed anymore. Very Happy
