Are you talking about the black ones with "World Champs" on the front? I think I've seen some RPPCs. Otherwise I've only seen them in panoramas and photos.

close but they wore a uniform that said "World Champs" on it. You can see it in the Ken Burns documentary "Baseball". If I remember right there is also film footage.

According to dressed to the nines website the World's Champions Uni's were not black. They were white home and gray road. The black Uniform are shown in 1905 & 06 and had N Y on the chest.

I liked Baseball, but you know what was amazing? The Civil War Series. That was a masterpiece.

There is also a horizontal pose in the Ullmans PC set that shows the "World Champion" uniform. I don't recall the player(s) on that one.

Not the 1906 Giants but here is a photo of 1920 Cleveland Indian, Bill Wambsganss, wearing what appears to be a "world champions" uniform. I have never seen anything like them. How long was it a tradition to wear these uni's?
