I think this could be a close one!!! Obviously I vote yes because I own it...and to me the Loudy is an iconic image despite the fact he isn't as tough within t207 as was once thought...combined with the previously unknown...for now 1 of a kind front/back combo. I agree it's esoteric...but then again isn't the e107 matty kind of esoteric as well?

yes, e107 Matty is esoteric no doubt but not nearly to the degree of the Lowdermilk imo. Matty is one of the game's greatest players, it's his rookie card, I think the avg collector would know the e107 Matty is a big card where as I don't think many realize how great your Loudy is.
I love the Loudy personally (it's awesome) but just trying to vote objectively from the eyes of the hobby as a collective whole.

I voted yes because it is the marquee card in the set with the marquee back. Awesome combination.

Not sure why this one didn't get the nob. It has everything going for it. At least what I want in a HOF card. Rare/key card with a rare back from a classic set. Can't ask for more than that.

Aesthetics and quality of player hold it back, IMO. Lowdermilk pitched a total of 80 innings in the majors.
