Moneyball is Over Rated

With the movie Moneyball coming out I thought I would give my thoughts. I think it is really overrated.

The A's of that era did not win because of the "moneyball", but because they were lucky to have 3 very talented pitches come up at the same time and their offensive guys seem to be tied to alot of steroids. Without the 3 young talented pitches they were just an ordinary team.

Yes except that they used Moneyball theories to draft those three pitchers. I agree that after the book sabrmetrics went from underrated to overrated but I do think it has its place in the game.
