Handwriting experts?
This is way off topic, but I figure that since a lot of people in our industry study handwriting in terms of autograph authentication someone here might know someone that can help me.
I'm doing some genealogy research while mother is still alive, and I'm having a Dickens of a time reading some of the old handwriting. Does anyone here know any handwriting experts?
For those of you bored and want to give it a shot...
The top is John Haddow, then occupation and deceased). The bottom section is ????? Haddow, and below it her maiden name, and again (deceased).
I hate script. People should just print.

I'd bet the original document would be much easier to read.
Here's some guess:
second line: Soft Goods.....
the second person, not real sure but
Inazi?n
Not sure about anything else.

Ancestry.com is the most addicting website I have ever been to. I spend all of my free time going through birth, death, marriage, and census records.
I think I am losing my eyesight staring at old parish ledgers like the one listed above. At least this one is in English.
I have gotten back to the 1770s in Scotland, the 1680s in Sweden, and the 1870s in Galicia.
I'd advise anyone with an addictive personality to never visit the website.
