A proof of Eddie Collins (batting pose) was discovered at a New York show in the 1970's. Eight previously unknown Southern Leaguer proofs were auctioned by Mastro in the '90's. Have any other uncataloged T206 players been discovered?
Now that's an intriguing question. Here are pics of the Collins proof, along with the 8 unknown SLer proofs:

Just took a look at Bob Lemke's blog and it appears that two new sets were discovered in 2009 by collector Glen Turner:
1952 Ponca City Dodgers (K-O-M League)
1952 Independence Browns (K-O-M League)

Re: Hobby Mysteries
The reason it was on his list is that the same brands that issued t206s also had the non-sports sets of flags, soldiers, etc. Not sure why he only had Hustler on the list Since Sub Rosa was another popular brand that showed up with great frequency on non-sports sets with t206 backs
Re: Hobby Mysteries
exactly Jay-why Hustler and not any other brands?
