Sorta confused (as usual!) - 1936/37 Goudey Wide Pen
Hey Guys,
I went to the local card show today, and picked up a raw (labeled as) 1937 Goudey wide pen Carl Hubbell, in about VG-VG/EX. The thing is, I can only find one on Ebay that is identical to it, and its graded SGC 10, and notated as a "type 4". I looked everywhere I could think of online, and cant find any info on this card, and Oldcardboard.com doesnt list 1937 Goudey wide pens, only 36, and Hubbell doesnt appear on their '36 checklist. Anyone know what the deal is, and how much its worth? I traded a $20 modern card for it, so hopefully I did ok. Thanks!

If you can, post a scan. I'm willing to bet that what you have is the Canadian version of the Goudey wide pen

Jay,
Unfortunately, my scanner isnt working right now. I can send a link to the Ebay one I found that is identical to it tho. I will try to get my friend to scan mine later tonight and see if you think theyre the same.

Hey Jay!
Thanks for the lead! I did some investigation, and found info on the Canadian wide pens. That is exactly what Ive got. There is no "Litho in USA" in the bottom corner. This is why I love this forum...you guys always find a way to help. Any idea on value? I dont have a VCP membership to check. Really appreciate the help!
