Thanks to all who made these images available.
As you can see, not all are photographic cards, but this set includes a combination of photo and drawn images. The Steve Brady, Jersey City's card helps establish the date of issuance of the set, in that Brady played with the American Association (MLB) baseball Metropolitans from 1883-86, and then joined the Jersey City Skeeters in the International Association in 1887.
If anyone has examples of this set which can be contributed to this assembly, please do so. We will all learn and enjoy from what you can offer - it does not have to be your card. These cards are uncommon.

Upon reading Lipsett's Encyclopedia Vol.1, it is apparent that although Brady's card verifies the set issuance date as 1888; other cards appear to refute this, and show that an additional issuance in 1889 may have taken place. Also the designation "American League" appears to mean American Association. Why only Flint was allowed to look into the camera is still being refuted.
