1800's Photo of Players on Field
Does any one have any photos of players position in the field from around 1865?
The new Old Cardboard has 2 woodcuts with the pitcher, catcher batter and ump in really weird positions.

around that time the pitcher would have been about 40-45 feet away and the catcher a good 2-3 feet further back of the batter in an upright position. they really didn't start squatting until about the late 1920s
