Roll call for next session
This is a formal call for participants in the next edition of the Full Count All-Time Greats fantasy league. It will include the previous players plus the players listed in the thread about the ATG Negro Leaguers. You will also have your choice of ballpark from 1901-2004. If you have access to the book Green Cathederals you will find all the parks with thier dimensions. We will not start the draft until sometime late in July.
This time around I plan to add some drama to the outcome. I will have a website to post stats and will post one weeks worth of games each day until the season is complete. Then I will do the playoff games one day at a time until a champion is decided. The number of divisions will depend on the number of participants. The more the merrier.
For those interested, please post your name, team name and ballpark (name and year).
Jay Behrens : Oppie Dildocks - Cleveland's Dunn Field (League Park) 1920
Gilbert Maines: Riddler's Medevil BBC - Detriot's Bennet Park 1901

Gil, what I am I gonna do with you I can give you Bennet Park from 1901, but that's the earliest. I don't have ballpark data for any park prior to 1901.

Jay: 1901 will be fine. The difference being that in 1901 they added 3,500 additional seats in foul territory; but maintained a clubhouse and a groundskeeper's shed - both in-play, just to the left of dead center field With the additional seating, the parks (seated) capacity was 8,500 patrons.
Cozy - and quaint enuff to allow carriages, horses and Victorian women to rim the outfield.
This is one of the few all wodden parks to never have burned. In 1911 they encircled the outfield with bleachers creating a homerun hitters friendly ballpark (and they removed the shed and clubhouse).
This was Cobb's original stomping grounds, and he did well at this park.

This looks really cool guys, count me as a strong "maybe" when the league expands. I've been pretty busy with real life lately, but I'll be back

Re: Roll call for next session
Just a reminder this a roll call for the All-Time Great League that we have run before. This time around we will not only be using the MLBs ATGs, but all the greats from the Negro Leagues. There will also be available every ballpark from 1901-2004 and there is no limit to the number of people that can play.
