1932 US Caramel Baseball wrapper
I believe there has been very good reason why no one in the hobby has ever seen a 1932 US Caramel Sports set wrapper. Actually, I believe some may have seen it over the years but it is very well camouflaged! My opinion: The recent wrapper that surfaced with the Joe Cronin card did actually come with that card in it. I believe that is the sports wrapper.
My belief is that the Presidents were issued first in Orange and Blue and lastly in Red and wrappered in the version "American Heroes"
I then believe the sports set was created and instead of making huge changes, the US Caramel Company of Boston MASS made them very similar to the red presidents issue and.... decided not to redo the graphics on the wrapper but to change the wording on it to: "United States Heroes".
Since the wrapper was representing the United States Caramel Company, they could get away with leaving the historical graphics on the wrapper.
Here is the original auction listing with the Sports wrapper:

Please see this post on the non-sport board to see the Presidents wrapper:

Again this is just my opinion but it does give a valid explanation of why no one has ever seen the Sports set wrapper.
