Many vintage sports collectors I know have the "collector gene", by which I mean they collect multiple classes of items (I have this a bit). Others I know love and collect vintage items of all sorts - cars, antiques, art, etc.

So what else (if anything) do you collect?

I also collect:


  • fine wine (especially red Burgundy)
  • guitars
  • amplifiers
  • first edition W.P. Kinsella books
  • 20th century Canadian oil paintings by top artists

Aside from sports cards, my only true collection is Steinbach nutcrackers.

Though, my wife might suggest that I collect tools as well.

Aside from collecting "little pictures of men" as my wife tells her friends, I collect BATMAN which keeps me connected with my inner-kid.

I used to be heavy into Vintage toys. Had a first class Vintage Robot collection at one time. Toys have been dwindling over the years, first to pay bills, now to feed my Baseball Card obsession.
