Is this new find the same game that was in the REA Auction? It looks very similar even with the same wear only near the batter position.

The game in the video is not the same one that was in REA. The director of the historical society who found the game contacted me about it recently....he wants to use a quote I made about the game on a different message board when I was discussing the REA game. Apparently it will be displayed at the house it was found in.

This is the quote he asked my permission to use:


"The Zimmer game is exceedingly rare and valuable. It is the king of
all baseball board games...I'm not sure what it would sell for
nowadays, but it is surely in the 5 figures."!

The Zimmer game is the pinnacle of baseball games. The Baseball Hall of Fame currently has two examples on display (one on loan with a collection) in amazing condition; in person, the game is nearly breathtaking.
