April Full Count News

A few small enhancements to the forum are in the works. Here are a few details.

Full Count and Google Maps

Click on the "who's online" link and you'll now see a Google Map representation of where our members are currently logged in from. You can zoom in and out, scroll to anywhere in the world, and see how populated the map gets with FC members as the forum continues to grow. Over the past few days we've had hits from the UK and even Kuwait!

Short Article Submissions

Starting now, Full Count members are encouraged to submit short card related articles (500-1000 words on avg). A link to the article will be featured temporarily on the main page and permanently in a subforum of the "helpful information for collectors" category. If you'd like to do a short article, just PM me the details and we'll have you ready to go.

Member Achievements

In an effort to recognize and reward the efforts of our participants, the achievements of Full Count members are now represented by a set of status symbols. These small icons will go underneath the "trader points" bar in the profile. This will be the final addition to the profile layout. The writing credits are not retroactive, meaning everyone starts now at zero. Here's the legend:

Graphics Expert
Member has designed graphic artwork either for the forum or its members.

Web Supporter
Member has linked to Full Count from his/her webpage.

Writer
Member has written one short article for Full Count or five set profiles in the Virtual Set area.

Editor
Member has written two short articles for Full Count or ten set profiles in the Virtual Set area.

Executive
Member has written five short articles for Full Count or twenty set profiles in the Virtual Set area.

Innovative Member
Member has made one or more useful suggestions that significantly helped improve the forum.

Fantasy Baseball Champ
First place team in the Full Count fantasy baseball keeper league.

NCAA Bracket Challenge Winner
First place bracket submitted in the Full Count NCAA challenge.

Poker Champ
First place finish in an online Full Count Poker Challenge.

Full Count Response Team
Member has made special efforts to help resolve issues on the forum, technical or otherwise.

Jester
Member makes people laugh and entertains the forum with their wit and/or humor.

Thanks John. I added three new status icons which you'll see at the bottom of the list. Guys, please let me know if you've put a link to Full Count on your website and you haven't received your "Web Supporter" icon yet.

Side question: would anyone be interested in hosting an online poker challenge for Full Count?
