I know this question is impossible, but take a wild guess how many T206's do you think have survived till today?. The total t206's left in Grandma's Attick, in collections and in circulation. How many do you think still survive today and what percentage are the survivors to the total distributed .
question insane

More or less than Goudey or Playball or pre-war Exhibits? My ranking guess:

most = Goudey,
then = PlayBall
then = T-206, and
last is Exhibits at 308, 935.

Realizing the availability of these cards, how much would you be willing to pay for the seventh highest graded PSA 1934 Goudey set? See REA Auction Lot #17.

1,307,500 T206's out there today. MULTIPLE times this number that are long gone - back to the Earth!

In the early 80s I heard the number "well over a million" for the number of t206s out there in collector's hands. Known and unknown exmaples still existing, 1.5 million may not be out of the question.

I have heard this as well Jay. I picked 1.3 Million to be safe. Laughing

I simply took 523 and multiplied it by 2500 to arrive at my figure. I figured there should be around 2500 or so (on the average - I know there are more of some than others out there) of each card left, so I multiplied that number by the number of cards in the set, minus the Doyle error card and arrived and my figure. boobies
