Re: are we done here?
Quan, please take care and I completely agree with your sentiments to not put "random crap" on the site.
This is my favorite site to share. Since many of the core members here are friends in the hobby; I took a few months off as my father, Robert Edward Phelan (1931-2014) passed away December 29, and my mother, Donna May Francis Phelan (1938-2015) passed February 11th. Theirs was a classic marriage of 57 years, and it was a particularly difficult Valentine's Day service. It was a hard six weeks to start the year, and wish to stay in touch more frequently....
I hope we are not done here.

Re: are we done here?
Thank you Quan, and don't worry Angels fans will be represented at the game. I've gone to the last three Opening Days with these two. Last year Opening Day was also against the Angels, Dan's an Anaheim native and rabid fan. He took his wife to an Angels game on their honeymoon, and believe it or not they're still married This picture was after last years 4-3 M's victory, but everyone still had a great time. Enjoy Opening Day everyone.....

I also fall into the above category although I was always more of a lurker and occasional poster anyway.
I still love cards and make an occasional purchase but, for the last few years, I've concentrated on spending time with our two kids and making memories before they head into their college years. With my son starting his freshman year at Rutgers University, I am starting to poke around the forums a little more. Glad to see this one is still up and running even if it is hanging on.
Jay, if you are still posting here, what pinball machine did you buy (or are looking at buying)? I got bitten by the same bug a few years ago and purchased a Cyclone. It was my all time favorite in college with my favorite callout of all time... "Hey, you with the face!"... I purchased the machine back in 2012 and am still having fun playing it today.
p.s. - Quan, just read your post my friend. I am sad to hear that you are having health issues. I hope that maybe things have improved since your post.

Haven't bought one yet. Saving up for one of the next gen machines. I'm hoping they have a Star Wars one by the time I have enough money, otherwise I'll be happy with the Lord of the Rings one I saw this spring. Wouldn't mind getting an 8 Ball Delux and an old pitch-n-bat baseball game.
Re: are we done here?
I hope we're not done here either. It has been a long time since I've posted and I've taken an extended hiatus from collecting - but I haven't forgotten about this forum and my good buddies here. I think this forum has a ton of potential still. With the direction net54 has taken in recent years, I think we can be the non-profit, modest alternative that the average collector can turn to. Maybe it's time to amp things back up?
Re: are we done here?
The biggest thing is getting new people to participate and try to get the old-timers writing again.
