I'm back!

The past week has been trying. Someone cut the main cable trunk in our neighborhood cutting off our internet access until now. No internet is hard on us because Mone works from home and need the net for that. I'm just a junkie, lol. Mona took the week off except for the day she had to meet with her staff. I sat around, played video games, sold BBQ sauce and made 80 jars strawberry jam.

If you lose internet, most smartphones enable you to create a personal hotspot where you can have a laptop connect into your phone. It worked for me in Africa (however, it took over a minute to download a page since I was in extended range).

Making strawberry jam sounds fun!

Yeah, we had the ability to hotspot, but he have a limited data plan and I use most it for my business and the step son for GPS to get to his job sites. Besides, it's nice to be unplugged for awhile every now and then
