This blew me away when I saw it this morning on SI.com. I wasn't even aware that he was ill. I watched oral cancer take my mother seven months ago. I'm getting really tired of watching people die of this disease.

Here's to Tony. Watching him enter the Hall of Fame alongside Cal was a real treat, as was any chance to watch him play.
