I put in a massive bid on a card tonight (like 50% premium) and still got outbid. Who are these crazy people?

Even though Im "supposed to be" taking time away from collecting, I put in 2 bids on cards at auction last night, and much to my amazement, they both held up, almost 50% under VCP. Low grade card deals are more plentiful I suppose?

At least you got a chance to bid on the auction and it didn't get pulled. I can live with getting out bid in a fair fight. ninja

Fine, I'll come clean. It was one of those cardboardy ones, you know, that has an image on it. And, final hint, there's a baseball player in the image. Shocked

Same here, Brandon - I'm on hiatus, but couldn't help put in a snipe on this one - it held up, for so much less than it would have previously.

No, it was for the White Sox team cabinet in SCP. Maybe it's just as well since it would've put quite a dent in my finances. But that cabinet was fantastic!
