Trivial Pursuit Empty Trivial Pursuit

It happened twice before. Three hits in an inning.

Gene Stephens did it for the Red Sox in 1953.
Then Johnny Damon did it fifty years later in 2003 also for the Red Sox.
Not too common, but seventy years prior to Stephens (120 years before Damon) it also happened.
Tom Burns, Fred Pfeffer and Ned Williamson each had three hits in the 7th inning of a game on September 6, 1883. 18 runs were scored that inning.
Musta been something to see.

No, Fred made it to the Mayo set, but he was gone before the e107s.
But relations .... ?
All three are from the same geographic area.
