Double Play cards
Since when did these cards get so popular and expensive? I was hoping to knock out the "only card" players from this set and they all closed for much more than what thought they should, or at least what I am used to seeing them go for.

Re: Double Play cards
Why not e-mail me a list of your "only" cards and see if I can come up with some alternates? My source ain't the best, but it has some value. But there is no hope for Bedient, he isn't even listed in my 2001 Becketts.

Re: Double Play cards
The players that appear only in that set are almost all rookies. They have cards in the 39-46 Exhibit Salutaiton set and many are in Leaf/Bowman/Topps sets

I never understood why it was "wrong" to seperate those panels, since each has its own number.

Re: Double Play cards
It sort of like Bazooka panels, Worth much more intact than as seperate cards. Not sure why kids back then didn't seperate them. Most likely becuase they were already about the same size as Play Balls, so it was easy to keep them all together if they didn't seperate them
