bbcemporium's cards on ebay...
twas fun seeing some quality material going off on ebay...nice cards like e90-1 wagner throwing, e90-1 mike mitchell, high grades e93 hofs. i don't follow the higher grade market but i thought it was some great prices in relation to 2010. i was able to pick up a t206 johnson from this find of 300+ ts/es.
imo some registry battles going on...some 3rd bids were left in the dust.
e90-1 wagner $5900

These cards were gorgeous. I thought there were some real deals in there to. Just a few months ago in REA
the last E90-1 Wagner (throwing) in a 4 sold for $9,400 after the juice. Super tough card from the set.
This one last night ended at roughly $5,900. For someone working on the set it was a great opportunity.

I was watching a few of those go off as well. Nice to see some straight-up auctions on the 'bay. Just like old times. I have to say I would have been very hesitant to put those cards up the week before the National when it seems so many collectors are laying low...but I guess it just proves again that it doesn't really matter when or how you sell if you've got some fresh, quality stuff.

Quan, what do you know about this find of 300 T/E's? Were they all in mid-high grade like these caramels were?
I was following a bunch of these with interest....especially the e93 Lajoie PSA 7 (sold for $4600) Matty ($5400) and Cobb PSA 6 ($7000)....beautiful cards, E90-3 Gandil PSA 5...the nicest I've seen of that card ($4600), and the former "wagner of e cards" E90-1 Mitchell PSA 5 ($7600).
I think these prices were fairly strong overall, it's been a while since we've seen a group of high grade e cards of this quality on ebay.

i know just what i've read from his description, haven't interacted with him at all. it was a midwest find. some nice e90-1s/2s/3s, with e93s and interestingly e102s.

He's a nice guy and trustworthy. Not a full-time dealer, just got lucky with the find.
