SO on this day of George Steinbrenner's death...will the AL win for like the 15th year in a row...in George's honour...or will the NL finally win one?

Well, Pete..pretty impressive pitching so far...the al threatened...but a double play ended that. Wrights on 1st on a misplay by Cano...personally...I think the AL will win...again!

yankees don't really need home field yet again...i'm hoping the NL will pull one out.

and there you have it, pete...the nl finally pulls one out...why the Flock was Ortiz still in there!

Yeah Girardi messed up big time by not pinch running Ortiz. Any semi-competent baserunner would have been safe at second on that play, which would have given the AL the winning run at the plate on the next at bat. Terrible!
