For some reason I thought it opened on the 9th. I cant access it throught the rea home page.

Well, I guess I misspoke. The auction is up, but not officially open.

Yep...they are open for business. I also thought it was supposed to be the 9th, but they started it early. That's cool though......no complaining at all here!

I think the 9th is when catalogues ship.

One thing I've noticed about this auction that is different from past REA auctions is that some items have a hefty opening bid, like the Old Judge PCL card. Seeing the $100k opening bid was a bit of a shocker but I'm sure it will see action.

This auction is absolutely mind blowing! I can't wait to get the catalog.

I picked a great time to do house renovations/repairs . Hopefully I can be a small fish in a huge pond and win something next year, as I'm sure that one will be just as awesome. You know, come to think of it....even when I have bid in the past, I've never been able to win a single item.....

Incredible auction! Did we really expect anything less? My expectations of winning anything aren't too high either - I'll just take one of those Red Stocking Cigar Radbourn cards please - that isn't too much to ask, is it?

As always, Rob has put together a mind blowing auction. That catalog is going to be thick!

How much do you guys think that Just So Ewing will go for? It's such a cool, distinctive card - I have a soft spot for beaters.

I normally don't get too excited about cards but the Johnson with a DRUM
back is AWESOME!!!!!!!

Now if
they only had a payment plan.

rea is amazing! this could possibly be the best auction i can think of since i joined this hobby....such depth and breadth.

I haven't been in the hobby very long (3 1/2 years), but I'd have to agree with everything I've seen so far. Nothing has even come close to the current REA auction.
