Goodwin Ends tonight .. Joss watch comencing

One of my grail cards is selling tonight .. t206 Addie Joss/Pitching/Red Hindu ..

Only currently graded Joss/Pitching/Red Hindu

Only one graded by PSA

Believed none graded at SGC .. there is some ambiguity caused by the original record keeping practices (early days of SGC .. 2 entries with different banners on Joss/Portrait which was avail in Brown Hindu)

1. Fridge Stocked ... check
2. Chips and Salsa.. check
3. Double Chocolate Oreos.. check
4.Schoolboy excitement .. check

Some interesting final prices. Te Wagner barely broke $100k. The e90-1 Jax sold for 5K more than the Tin Top. I'd much rather have the Tin Top. Far rarer and much better looking. Thorpe wen for about what I thought was the right price. Figured it would be around $2500. The person that bought my Delongs in REA and completed the set got less money than I got in REA. Ouch!!!

Now I see why I thought it was over. I was logged out and so it looked like the auction over since there was no option to bid

Interesting to note that Jay thinks the Morehouse Thorpe's current bid is already a 'fair' price.

I think I really misjudged this card, but we'll see.

The card is just so beaten up. It may push $4k but I really don't think anything past $3k is a good deal unless you are a Thorpe collector going for a back run.

Right On ! Gotta keep those "Door Slammer" bids handy for when they are needed. I don't use them often.. but when I do I use them ferociously.

It would seem that most of my observations still stand. I think the Wagner is the lowest price it has gone for in awhile. Someone with access to cardpricer can probably confirm that. Seems I got the high end of the Thorpe right. I'd only go that high because I would want it get all the different backs. Otherwise, it's just an ugly Thorpe card with better looking black back and F&B versions out there. Not sure the 6 cards added to my Delongs that sold in REA warrant an extra $1k to the price tag, so the seller probably made couple of dollars, but not much.

I was very, very surprised by the $11k and change on Mr. Mack's W600.

At least I don't have to feel bad about not bidding on it now.

This is shameful, but I won the Whitney with dog. So if the price seemed a bit crazy, now you know why - I was bidding on it

It's a card that I've wanted for a very long time and I don't think I'll see another n172 Whitney with dog with such a good image.
