After a few years of fruitless searching, I finally added this to my collection:

Unfortunately! I've only seen a handful of these packs in 10 years though so I'll take what I can get. This one is complete with some cigarettes.

Spectacular looking pack, congrats Jon! How high does it rank in scarcity for packs than contained t206's?
hey jon...
a very cool item, indeed!

It's a pretty rare pack. I have seen 10 or so of them over the years, including one earlier this year on eBay. I put a ridiculous snipe on it when it came due - something like $650 because I wanted ti so bad. Wouldn't you know, I got outsniped! If I had to rank the packs based on scarcity, my list would look something like follows (all numbers are approximate):
Hindu (none known)
Drum (none known)
Broadleaf (2 known)
Uzit (2 known)
Lenox (5-10 known)
=================
Tolstoi (10 known)
Carolina Brights (10 known)
American Beauty (10-15 known)
Polar Bear (10-15 known)
=================
Cycle (20 known)
Old Mill (20 Known)
El principe de Gales (20 known)
=================
Sovereign (50 known)
Piedmont (100+ known)
Sweet Caporal (100+ known)
Scans of each pack can be viewed here:

I actually had no idea what the Russian stood for...
Wow
That pack is awesome. Beautiful piece, Jon, and if the Minnesota tax stamp turns you off, I will take it off your hands. The tax stamp only enhances the value as far as I'm concerned.

Jay
Jay - my numbers may be a little misleading. I call those the "era" numbers. By that, I mean packs dating between 1905 of 1912. If I was to focus on only 1909-1911, American Beauty would be eliminated from the list. In fact, until the recent find of a handful of American Beauty packs dating to 1905-1907, there was only 1 pack known to exist. To date, none have been found with a 1909-11 tax stamp.
Re: December 2009 Pickups
Haven't had any new pickups in December. Been a dry month. But I will post one from last month that I haven't posted yet:

Fantastic E94 Crawford, Eric. Looks EX! What's the reason for the grade? I'm guessing minor creasing.
Also, congrats on the T205 Young, Jay. Make sure you and Jon get your trader points!

Thanks Ben. There's a small crease in the upper left corner, and lower right corner. Still an amazing looking card.

Indeed! The image quality is so nice - Sam's hands and bat almost seem to be 3-D .

Good point Blair. I actually thought that the first time I saw the card as well. The others I have don't nearly "pop" like this one.
Here's an example (another I haven't shown on the board yet)
It just doesn't have that 3-D look....
