Ever post something about a card or set and find that its
price was quickly affected?
I have. Several times.
It can effect you ability to collect within your budget.
So, what do you do?
Lurk only?
If that was to happen, we could all just pack up and go home.
No Lipsett encyclopedias, no new Old Judge book, no magazine article contributions, no info.
Oh, you could still get price guides, VCP, Old Cardboard, PSA info, and more.
Not very insightful tho.
Not much depth.
Weak in specialties.

If you are after something it is best to keep hush about it until have the your goal achieved. Ever since the evolution of Net 54, it seems when something is mentioned on the board it tends to create more interest than previously.

I did not post this but this is a good example.
After this board discussed the T205 Matty Cycle in Lipsets auction, the next one that appeared on ebay went for over 1k and it was a low grade example. This card would have never brought that kind of money if it was not talked about on the boards.
