January 2009 Pick-ups

Not a terribly impressive one, but the price was right. It got an "A" due to a piece of tape on the back.

Nice E107. Ryan is no common player, just ask Gil.

As long as the tape isn't stabilizing the card, I think it should have received a SGC 10.

A few i've picked up the last month or so but haven't got around to posting.

Happy New Year to you. Yeah, i've kinda split my current collecting interest into two groups.
1. T206 Hof portraits Vg/Ex or better with common backs
2. T206 Hof portraits Good or better with tougher backs.
The CJ Tinker portrait was an exception to the rule, but you can see why.
I love portraits........

Thanks for the request. I will take that as a complement. I will put something together for the E107 collection and post a link here. You can pretty much see my entire collection of them from the November and December pickup threads though. I should have a couple of nice additions to the collection coming soon.

I use yahoo for a free web site....it has ads but it FREE.

Also, i have a photobucket site that i have been using to store my pics. Since you are acquiring a nice E107 collection i would recommend a pay site since they are pretty cheap to set up now.

Here is a link to my yahoo site, i have not updated it in a while. Most of the cards on my site were sold in a lot to a friend. When i get my N173 Seward back from SGC i will update my site.

Well, here it goes. Though they have yet to arrive, these 3 cards represent the latest addition to my E107 collection. I imagine that it will be many moons until I will be able to post any other new acquisitions since this has pretty much tapped me out for the time being. Thank you, Wes!

Interestingly, these 3 cards also constitute acquiring #1, #2, and #3 on my want list from early December in another thread on this board. At that time, I had no idea that they would be available or within the realm of possibility.

So, are these enough to warrant my first bunny accolade?

Actually, I kind of like how they are displayed on SGC's site. I will update these three cards with larger scans on that website once the cards arrive.
