Anyone else as disappointed as me by 'True Detective' 2?
Watched the finale of season 2 tonight. Pure cheese. I mean, downright Swiss (including the holes). Should've been shot in the Alps, frankly, except the Alps are amazing, not boring and overwritten and over-acted and featuring too many plot lines. I can't believe the same creative team that gave us that incredible first season then proceeded to give us this heap of dung.
Anyway, just ranting. I know it's not at all baseball-related. Just curious if anyone else was as let down as I was. I really want those nine hours of my life back. I should've spent them watching the MLB Network!

I think my wife watches that show, but on Netflix, so she hasn't seen season 2 yet.

Season Two was hot garbage. The finale made Twin Peaks seem coherent. Not sure what the creators aim was, but they missed their target.

I had no problem following Twin Peaks. Still one of the greatest TV series ever.

So who killed Laura Palmer? Big event around Twin Peaks 25 year anniversary in Issaquah, Washington this fall. Special Agent Dale Cooper/Ray Manzarek was from Yakima. Not sure if Twin Peaks was literal, allegory or metaphor? Pretty sure True Detectives was none of the above, and simply poorly written.
