Re: Fun fact
Just prior to the Cubs last World Series victory, the land speed record for internal combustion engines was set by Henry Ford in his 999 racer across frozen Lake St. Clair at a blistering 91.37mph.
Eclipsed by the Stanley Rocket, steam engine, piloted by Fred Marriot in 1906. At 127.66mph this record was held until August 2009 for a steam powered craft. Sometimes it does take 100 years.

The Cubs will win the WS in 2015 and end their drought. Well, at least according to Back to the Future II...
