jay, a guy with a small stake in gai wanted to cross his gai10 '52 topps mantle over to sgc...sgc wanted gai to take said card out of holder first before taking a look...dave forman said there are 2 spots of imperfections and it would only get an sgc 9 mint. for fear of something forman decided to keep the card until the owner would sign something(?) absolving sgc of something else before handing card over...card stays with sgc for a few months...local new jersey paper got wind of story and somehow it turned into owner sending card to forman at sgc to "clean" card up so it'd cross into sgc holder...judge/mediator ruled card will be returned to original owner, not sure if it'd be in an sgc9 or gai10 holder...

cliffnotes: gai guy send gai10 mantle to sgc for crossover, sgc kept card for a few months...card will be returned to owner...lawyers make money...the end.
