Re: Man Cave Update
I try not to put anything on the cards and just let the pressure hold them, but as you can see it does not always hold. I don't think I have paid more than $3 for any of the frames, I figure I can spend the other money on more cards.

Nice sanctuary! Not only are the cards & photos awesome, but you may have the only Miller Lite inflatable chair not to be punctured by a drunken friend

i've found comic toploaders to also be nice protection for premiums like t3s/w600s/t5s or the larger postcards. comic penny sleeves/toploaders.
sorry lee but your setup would not work in california...one good shake and they'd all be on the floor

Re: Man Cave Update
I want my bag of Twizzlers back.
My ceramic statue collection survived the big quake in '89 just fine. When the quake hit I figured all my Salvino's and other ceramic statues were dust but we got lucky and had one pan shake loose from its hook.
If anyone wants to know how to circumvent Lee's security system, I'm your man

Man, I gotta say, that's pretty stinkin' cool. You're quickly moving into my #2 slot for Baseball-Related Man Caves, behind only Geddy Lee of RUSH (check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7tsXHkLf9w to see Geddy's veritable museum, particularly the Shoeless Joe bat that makes my mouth water; skip to 2:48 to get to Geddy directly, although the beginning with Alex Lifeson playing golf is entertaining, as well).
My only suggestion: Dump the inflatable Miller Lite thing in favor of a quality leather chair. There is nothing (other than certain types of wood) that screams Stylish In-Door Baseball Environment like fine leather. (And if you can afford all this baseball memorabilia, you can certainly afford a nice leather chair! I recommend Pottery Barn or C&B, at the risk of surrendering my Man Credentials by admitting that I shop at these places even without a woman pestering me to do so.) Trust me on this one. It will be the final touch of class that a room this awesome needs. And, of course, it will be the chair that everyone wants to sit in, but that only YOU are allowed to sit in. Every king needs his throne, after all. '-)
Well done, my friend.

I say NO to leather. The couch could use an upgrade, however. That would be #1 on the list.

Re: Man Cave Update
The reason the inflateable is in the room is because it is easy to move. The room is something like 18' by 15' not a big room. I have it packed pretty tight with the recliner, love seat, couch w/hideabed and the inflatable, not alot of extra room. I have made a game room and that is getting all Twins items in it. It is nice that it does not take much effort to change the items if I want to.

Re: Man Cave Update
Jamie, The couch was a left over from the previous owner. It is a hide a bed type and really heavy and probably will have to get busted up to move it out of there. It is functional if nothing else. The room definately is the crown jewel of my house.

Pete, you'll have to sleep on the floor. They are nice hardwood floor and the ambiance is great.

I'd much rather sleep on the floor than a couch who's provenance is unknown...can u say bed bugs...or something even worse?

Re: Man Cave Update
Lee's posterior has spent many years on it. That should care anyone. The other reason Lee won't get rid of the Miller chair is that it is required by his job to have Miller related items throughout the house.
