Most, if not all B/S/T deals on FC have run fairly smooth. Potential buyers should be considerate to sellers (as sellers to buyers) so if someone agreed to buy a card via email or post then they should pay. IMHO
It will discourage any other sellers from dealing with certain people and that's not good for business.
If a collector gets known on B/S/T as a person who repetitively commits to a card and then refuses to pay, i am sure deals with that person will be few and far between with other sellers.

Maybe he spent the money on the single women. If that happened, you really can't blame him.

Re: REALLY WTB T215-1 Card(s)
It has happened in the past and probably will continue in the future where people just get overly excited about collecting and having to have certain cards but it does not give grounds for renigging on a deal. There are times when you commit to a deal and the seller has other potential buyers and you are not able to hold up to the committment and the seller tries to sell it again only to find the previous people interested are no longer interested and know you have a really unhappy seller.
Bottom line, if you do not have the funds available at the time of commitment do not commit not much good can come of this.

Guys,
I have emailed Pete tonight, and I am still planning to buy the card next week. I had something come up, and I explained to him via PM, which I would have preferred this situation to be handled from the start
