Privacy policy
There has been some concern lately that other forums are selling member's personal info to third parties. The Full Count Forum will never, I repeat NEVER, sell or provide any personal information we have gathered, including email addresses.
We are a forum run by collectors for collectors with no interest in profiting from this endeavor.

Re: Privacy policy
I notice I had been getting E-mails from websites and auction houses I had never visited before. Is that what this is about? I for one don't mind as I don't get much E-mail.

It appears as though email addresses are being passed on whether by sale or a thank you for something but definately coming from a sports card site and I am a member of many of them and I know this one does not peddle them.

Re: Privacy policy
Well today I got a rather annoying mail asking me to consign to an auction I've never heard of. This kind of solicitation does bother me, whereas "hey we've got an auction coming!" is something that might at least interest me.
I have never signed up to Net54 as far as I remember, so I do not think Leon sold me down the river. I am certain it wasn't Full Count that sold me out. I do not want to go naming suspects without evidence as I feel that is not within the spirit of the board. However, if anyone else who is getting these E-mails (and I know there are a few here) find out any information, or have any theories as to why this is happening recently, please send me a PM.
Thanks.

just a lurker but registered long ago
No emails to me of these types at all. The new Net 54 won't have me for whatever unknown crazy reason, and I am too lazy to ask why, so this site has not knowingly provided my email address to these new auction houses. I appreciate it. Thanks! Mike

Re: Privacy policy
The only card related emails I get are from one seller that I won a lot from on eBay. Otherwise, spam address (my yahoo addy) and my private one are clean.
Re: Privacy policy
Well if you're not getting them, Jay, I'm going to assume it was one of these smaller, new auction houses that did this to me, since you're not a big auction house guy.

Re: Privacy policy
I'm pretty most auction houses have my spam address. Then again. The spam filter at my spam address is pretty good so those might be getting eaten by the slam filter.
