Lost Wins
I know there is someone out there that has this answer. I am really curious if the HOF committee takes into account the number of wins a player lost after the bullpen came into a game? That being said, who are the top 10 pitchers to have wins wiped off there record because of the bullpen?

Not sure about the answer that you are looking for but Walter Johnson lost something like 26 games 1-0. More than any other pitcher. He also won 38 games 1-0. The most for any pitcher.
What you are looking for will most certainly be a modern day record since relievers didn't get much work when a pitcher was winning back in the "good old days".

Re: Lost Wins
Interesting question, a modern day player is probably right. But stats like that could bolster the argument for many (less than) borderline pitchers of them Good Old Days such as Slim Sallee (1908-21) 174-143 with a 2.56 career earned run average. Good research project; Most Wins Lost.

Re: Lost Wins
luckily the "win" these days is pretty much ignored by modern metrics cuz it's worthless...as lee's example points out there are so many variables that could affect the stat.
