Re: May pickups
OMG awesome jamie! you picked up more than your hobby share there. GREAT cards imo you win the may--dec pickup threads unless someone shows at least a t206 plank or a big e107 hof'er
p.s. i tried for one of the other 3 delahanty's but fell short

Re: May pickups
Thank you, Quan! I'm real excited about them. Which of the other Dela's did you go for? Those were nice as well... bummer there. Appreciate all your compliments... cheers.

Re: May pickups
WOW, those are 2 Gems.
An old judge Delehanty & Kotton Wagner in one night, you must be estatic. I would be. Congrats

Re: May pickups
That Delahanty is an absolute gem Jamie, and ditto for the Wagner. If you don't mind, I'll just live vicariously through your pickups this this time around. Congrats!
Re: May pickups
Lee,
Ha! Yeah I think I'll pass on offer.
That is a very interesting stamp, though, and at a good price.

Cool Quan didn know you were a So Cal Guy. I am in burbank myself. I really wish the Angels would have kept Rex Hudler ,call me crazy but I liked his energy and enthusiasm for the game

Re: May pickups
Sick Wagner. I would've walked over hot coals and shards of broken glass for that card.

And if you would have done that.....Imagine what I would have done for that card.
Awesome pickups Jamie. It will be nearly impossible to out do those grabs. WOW!

Re: May pickups
ha, nice avatar jamie...i just noticed A+! (kicking myself for not bidding 3k on the n300 dela)
it's all gravy now after jamie's PUs...but here's my crappy photo of a crappy card to hide all the flaws. the t206 speaker is a good representation of prewar collecting for me. and i don't mean the EX or NRMT nice ones either, i like a nice f/g beater to show some historical wear & tear. i've had 8-9 through the years and this is the latest...it's my achilles heel i'm sure it won't be the last.
p.s. yes lentel, i miss the enthusiasm of the wonder dog also.

Re: May pickups
Man... thanks guys.
REA failed to mention, too, that the Wags is the highest graded. I'm really pleased about that.
I really appreciate all the compliments, and hope to keep the cards for a long, long time (like, the rest of my life)

Re: May pickups
Thanks Quan!
Might as well show it off, right?
Speaker is a legend, and a Boston guy, too. I really like the aesthetics of that pose.
Yeah, that n300 Dela was a steal, it's tough when you're stuck on the wrong increment.

Re: May pickups
I've kind of had a busy past few weeks. I added an upgrade for my E107 Plank (thanks, Quan), added a beater dupe E107 Flick, and added an E107 McGraw that I am absolutely thrilled to get.
