Ouch!

Just got this back from SGC. It got a 20. It's cards like these when you want to know why it got the grade it did. I can't find any paper loss or creases in the card.

It looks like someone wrote in pencil next to "Dodgers", then erased it. Maybe even crossed out Dodgers at one time? Also writing on the back between paragraphs.

yea with the writing i understand the grade. i expect the VG+ card below to get an sgc20 also. up to you whether you want a psa 3mk or an sgc20?

The writing on the back jumped out right away for me, not sure it's still a 20 though.

it's interesting now that sgc grades cards with a pinhole as a 20 instead of the 4-5 years ago where it'd be a 10.

do you guys prefer a 20 with writing or a 20 with pinhole card (same condition otherwise)? not sure how i feel yet as the dilemma just popped into my head

If it's a pinhole like this one I will take the pinhole, the writing depends where it is.

I have a SGC 40 with a very tiny pinhole:

There is no writing on the back. It looks like the same color ink from the front of a Delong. You do seem to be right about pencil being erased on the front.
