That's awesome! I've had a nice balance of power (4 players with 40+ HR) speed (Henderson 84 SB, Collins 51) and a pair of aces in Maddux and Koufax.

I don't appear to have any injuries, so I'll keep my lineup as is. Why mess with something that's working?

I lost my top 2 pitchers for 15 games each in the last month of the season. That did me in along with the Canucks owning me beating me 10 times in 12 games.

One amazing stat, Walter Johnson missed almost 50 games due to injuries and still managed to pitch 14 complete games.

The other thing that killed me was Dick Allen. I've had him on my every year and he's been a stud. This time around, he was a dud and I didn't replace him soon enough

I had one NeL pitcher, and he did as poorly as the rest of my staff. I was last in the ATG league in pitching.
I had seven NeL hitters. They did very well, averaging about a .310 BA with .500+ S%

Is the playoffs a best of 7 series?

It would be nice to see the results one day at a time, including boxscores and play by play.
It would also be nice if Jay would serve beer and hotdogs.

The Stallions will remain in the cozy confines of Coors Field (1998). The lineup will remain the same. The pitching rotation will be as follows:

That Babe Ruth for Lady Baldwin trade sounds good to me. Do you think Ruth could hit at Coors Field?

Are you guys serious - the #1 overall pick in the draft, Ruth, for Lady Baldwin? Maybe I'm missing something. How would that trade be even remotely fair? Especially right before the World Series?

Well, the season is over for me. I lost. Unless I am missing something. So Ruth has no value to me.
But, for the 1885 season, I am still in the running - since it hasn't started. And Lady Baldwin had an attractive ERA for that season.
