pitching roation issues

I thought the sim could handle percentage of starts for each pitcher, but it doesn't like it. Two pitchers started every game and 6 pitchers had 20 or more starts. The sim requires that there be a regular starting rotation and only 1 or 2 spot starters.

What I need from you all is a traditional starting rotation. The number of pitchers in that rotation is up to you. For spot starters, what I need is the max number of starts you want them to have in that role.

Does the sim allow the spot starter to also be a traditional reliever? Or, if you tell him to start 10 games in a season, will those be the only 10 games the sim uses him in?

He can be used in long relief, mop up, etc. The sim will just limit the player to 10 starts for the whole season.

Ok. I 'think' mine is set to what you need now.

I'll just go with my 5 man rotation for now, with no spot starters
