Trimmed N300's and Ebay?
Just curious to get your guys input. I was bidding pretty heavy in these auctions below, am I the only one who thinks 10k for trimmed cards is pretty steep?
Or should I have just bid that much higher, on the Nichols I thought my bid of $2250 for most likely a trimmed card (reserve not met) was pretty strong as well as 1500 on the Ward.
Are these cards really that hard to come by…not bitter here congrats to the winner who ever. I’m just thinking 10k puts you into a whole group of cards for sale including non-trimmed versions of the below cards, or am I missing the boat with my thinking?
Love to hear your input.
Cheers,
John

Although Mayos are quite spendy now, I'm guessing that big price is due to the fact that they do look very nice and some of the winners may be hoping to if they resubmit them, that they will get graded. My money says they are headed to PSA and will end up with a numerical grade.

Someone is hoping to get these into a PSA holder with a numerical grade. Has to be. I wouldn't pay this much for a trimmed Lone Jack, which is much rarer.

Looks like Dan won all of these. The thing with Mayos to look out for usually however is being recolored more than trimmed...I'd be more concerned with that.

That's great Kevin - sounds like Dan will keep the cards in the holders they are in.

Mabe they will...but my guess is they will make a pit stop first.
