Sorry for the delay guys, I was out on a buying trip today and picked up some early pro football photographs that I am pretty pumped about. Anyway, my picks shall be:

The Canucks select Kent Tekulve (RP) and Rob Nen (RP)

The Elite Black Whales select Rp- Hilton Smith (strangely noted in the HOF yearbook as pitching long reliief for Satchell Paige (did he need relief?)), and Bench - Albert Belle

The New York Gothams select outfielder... Hugh Duffy and infielder... Luke Appling. Luke told me he was having some aches and pains, so I'm sure he'll enjoy the bench assignment.

The Oppie Dildocks select King Kelly and Mike Jackson

Gil, you need to try two different guys. Not sure what your criteria is for your team, but to me there are lot of players available that are much better than those two guys or any of the other recent picks you've made.

Jay: I have been selecting Negro League players for the past few rounds.
Luke Easter is a power hitting lefty first baseman who played MLB from about 1948-54. He was in his upper 30s by then, but he had produced seasons of 28, 27 & 30 HRs in the early 50s. This player is ideal for my team's short RF pavillion.
Will Cannonball Jackman is a power pitcher who tirelessly throws heat. He is reported to have nearly as many wins as Paige. (Some reports say more than Paige). Will is reported to have once struck out 30 batters in a game.


I do not have replacements for these two ready now. I'm fairly deep into the NeL and it takes time to find players who fit my objectives.
Therefore, please continue with the draft, and I will post new selections as they become available.
